The Postpartum 30 Practitioner Certificate Agreement

This Agreement sets out the terms and conditions of your participation in the Postpartum 30 Practitioner Certificate Program and governs your rights and responsibilities.

This agreement is between you, the person and/or entity submitting this registration form, and Bridges In Health (SIREN 928 417 393), 10 Rue Victor Poirel, 54000 Nancy, France - represented by Kristal Lau Ying Qing LaFrance a.k.a Dr. Kristal Lau or Dr. Lau (henceforth known as 'the Company').

By submitting your digital signature, you understand and agree to the following terms:

1) Program Language and Delivery

I understand and agree that:

  • The Postpartum 30 Practitioner Certificate Program  ("the Program") will be delivered in English.
  • This Program will be delivered over FOUR WEEKS with no ability to extend if I cannot complete the assignments within the duration of the program.
  • If I cannot attend the EIGHT-HOUR live workshop, I can watch the workshop replay during the program. There will be no make-up workshop offered.
  • If I cannot attend the private feedback session in Week Four of the program for any reason, there will no ability to reschedule this session outside of the four-week duration of the program.

2) Workshop Cooking Demo Materials

I understand that I have the choice to accept or decline the workshop cooking demo materials; specifically defined as the following items:

  • the Confinement herbal tea or soup pouches, which will be purchased from established Traditional Chinese Medicine herbal dispensaries in the local country of each participant (subject to change at the discretion of the Company)
  • the Confinement ingredients box, which will be purchased from established online Asian grocers in the local country of each participant (subject to change at the discretion of the Company)
  • for continental USA residents - The Chiyo Intro 2-Day postpartum meal is prepared and delivered by Chiyo, Inc. (9 Basin Drive Suite #150, Kearny, NJ 07032, USA)

I understand and agree that:

  • The workshop cooking demo materials are provided solely for educational purposes and are supplied by third-party suppliers. The Company coordinates the purchase and delivery but does not control the quality, handling, or delivery of these materials.
  • The workshop cooking demo materials are provided to me one-time only during the Program.
  • If I do not wish to receive the workshop cooking demo materials or if I do not wish to participate in the cooking demo segment of the workshop, I am not entitled to any refunds or discounts.
  • It is my responsibility to notify the Company of any food allergies and dietary restrictions in this registration form. I must notify the Company of any changes to this information immediately so that the Company can do their best to provide me with workshop cooking demo materials that match my dietary restrictions.
  • If I choose to receive the workshop cooking demo materials stated above, I am responsible for notifying the Company immediately about any concerns and/or issues with the workshop cooking demo materials, including but not limited to:
    • Damaged, missing, spoiled, or incorrect items
    • Any concerns affecting safety, quality, or usability
  • I am responsible for providing supporting documentation to the Company for any concern and/or issue I report, which may include: 
    • Photographs of the item(s) and packaging
    • Delivery receipts or tracking information
    • Any other relevant details requested by the Company
  • The Company will assist in communicating my concern and/or issue with the supplier but the Company is not responsible for providing refunds, replacements, or other remedies. Delivery delays, damage in transit, or spoilage of workshop cooking demo materials are outside the control of the Company. Timely reporting and collection of evidence related to my concern and/or issue are my responsibility to ensure that the Company can address the concern and/or issue with the supplier.
  • The Company reserves the right to change the third-party supplier for the workshop cooking demo materials and to change the contents of the workshop cooking demo materials at any time. The Company will notify me of such changes and I am allowed to accept or reject the new workshop cooking demo materials.
  • It is my responsibility to store and handle the workshop cooking demo materials appropriately and safely upon receipt of the workshop cooking demo materials. I am responsible for following the storage, handling, and consumption instructions provided by the third-party suppliers. Failure to follow these instructions may affect the quality or safety of the materials. The Company will not be responsible for any spoilage, degradation, or adverse effect resulting from improper storage or handling.

3) Program Fees and Payment

I understand that I can pay the Program's fees in full. 

I understand that I can choose an installment payment plan instead. I understand and agree that if I choose an installment payment plan, there will be a 5% installment plan fee added to the the full fees as outlined below:

  • Basic Program: 2 × € 729 ( total € 1,458.00 )
  • Elite Program: 2 × € 992 ( total € 1,984.00 )

I understand and agree that:

  • The first installment is due upon enrollment to secure my space in the cohort,
  • The second installment is due by the end of Week 2 of the cohort I am joining,
  • Failure to complete the second installment by the due date will result in loss of program access until payment is received.
  • There are no refunds once payments are made.
  • The fees for the workshop cooking demo materials are included in the Program fees. If these materials are delayed, damaged, or otherwise problematic, this will not entitle me to a refund or discount.

I understand and agree that if I withdraw from the Program at any time, am unable to complete the Program, or if Dr Lau concludes that I don't satisfy the certification requirements:

  • There will be no refunds,
  • I will not receive the certificate of completion,
  • I will not receive the 1-year license and cannot use the title 'Postpartum 30 Practitioner' in any capacity,
  • I will not be listed in the active Postpartum 30 Practitioner directory (the content in this directory is subject to change at the discretion of the Company)
  • I have to pay a course repeat fee of EURO 880.00 if I choose to repeat the course.

4) Program Assessment and Certification

I understand and agree that to successfully earn the Postpartum 30 Practitioner Certificate, I must:

  • Achieve at least 80 % overall across the weighted assessments:
    • [ 50 % from the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) ]
    • [ 50 % from the Postpartum Confinement Plan Case Study ]
  • Attend the private 1-on-1 feedback with Dr Lau
  • Submit the Reflection Feedback Survey

I understand and agree that:

  • Even if I score above 80% in the MCQs and Postpartum Confinement Plan Case Study, failure to attend the private 1-on-1 feedback with Dr Lau and submit the Reflection Feedback Survey will prevent certification.
  • If my assignments do not meet the standards of Dr. Kristal Lau's marking rubric (which will be made available to all certificate participants once they start the program), Dr. Lau reserves the right to withhold my certificate and 1-year Postpartum 30 Practitioner license.

5) Program Conduct

I understand and agree that:

  • If my behaviour or conduct is disruptive during the Program, the Company or Dr. Lau has the right to terminate my participation in the Program at any time and there will be no refund.
  • The Program and any of its accompanying Materials (defined as digital, physical, printed, videos, images, software, and hardware materials that are related to the Program, including the Company's community platforms and resources shared in those platforms related to the Program) may not be shared with any party during and after the Program.
  • If the Company or Dr. Lau suspects that the Program or Materials are being shared and/or that I have shared my log-in information with any party, the Company or Dr. Lau reserves the right to immediately terminate my access to the Program, in their sole and exclusive discretion. There will be no refunds in this case.

6) Intellectual Property

I understand and agree that:

  • The Materials and the Program provided by the Company are the property of the Company, including all copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, patents, and other intellectual property ("Company IP").
  • The Company owns all right, title and interest in and to the Company IP and that I will not use the Company IP for any unlawful or infringing purpose.
  • Access to the Program and its Materials is granted for ONE YEAR from the Program start date. After this period, I may choose to purchase an annual license to continue accessing the Program and its Materials.
  • I shall not to reproduce or distribute the Company IP in any way, including electronically or via registration of any new trademarks, trade names, service marks or Uniform Resource Locators (URLs), without express written permission from the Company. These are detailed in the General Terms and Conditions here.

7) Liability and Your Responsibilities

I understand and agree that:

  • The Company and Dr. Lau are not liable for any result or non-result or any consequences which may come about due to my participation in the Program and/or through my use of any advice or other information given in the Program and in the Materials.
  • The Program and its Materials are provided for informational and educational purposes only.
  • Any information posted in the Program and in the Materials is not intended to be legal advice, medical advice, or financial advice, and no fiduciary or consulting relationship has been created between myself and the Company.
  • I am responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information submitted in this registration form.
  • The identifying information in this form will enable me to participate in the Program and to receive the accurate invoice(s) and Program-related information. It will not be sold or shared with third-parties without my consent. I will immediately notify the Company of any changes to my identifying information.
  • I am responsible for the security of the content I create related to the Program assignments. I should keep backups of my assignments.

I understand and agree that I am exclusively responsible for the choices that I make with regard to this Program and the Materials contained within it, including the workshop cooking demo materials, and for any significant changes, decisions, actions, or inaction I choose to take for my business or personal life before, during, and after participating in the Program.

8) Personal Data and Privacy

I understand and agree that:

  • The Company processes my personal data for the purposes of enrollment, course delivery, and certification issuance in accordance with EU GDPR regulations. I consent to the storage and use of my data as described in the Privacy Policy.

This Agreement is governed by French law.

  • Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in France.
  • This Agreement is executed in English. In case of translation discrepancies, the English version shall prevail.
